Job requirements

  • Staff management and training: Supervising breakfast waitstaff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that all team members are properly trained in service standards, food safety protocols, and menu knowledge. This involves conducting regular training sessions, coaching staff members to improve performance, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Ensuring smooth operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the breakfast service, including monitoring dining room flow, managing reservations, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. This involves anticipating and addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks to ensure a seamless and efficient dining experience for guests.
  • Quality control: Maintaining high standards of quality in food presentation, service, and cleanliness. This includes conducting regular inspections of the dining area and kitchen to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as monitoring guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer satisfaction: Monitoring guest satisfaction levels and addressing any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. This involves interacting with guests, soliciting feedback, and taking proactive measures to resolve issues and ensure that guests have a positive dining experience.
  • Performance evaluation and improvement: Evaluating the performance of breakfast waitstaff, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement. This includes conducting regular performance reviews, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance, and identifying training needs or areas for development to ensure that the team continues to excel.
