The Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at THE BUTCHER SOCIAL CLUB, part of The Entourage Group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional looking to step into a dynamic supervisory role in an upscale dining environment. As a Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring top-quality service, and driving a culture of excellence within our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery and upholding THE BUTCHER’s high standards.

• Supervise and guide the front-of-house team, providing training, motivation, and support to ensure exceptional service.

• Ensure service standards are met and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.

• Monitor and manage the restaurant's performance, assisting with strategies to enhance guest experiences and increase business growth.

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members, and help foster a positive, supportive work culture.

• Collaborate closely with both service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between all departments.

• Drive and participate in promotional initiatives to increase visibility and engagement with guests.

• Lead by example, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with guests and the team.

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure operational efficiency, especially during peak hours.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in an upscale dining environment.

• A strong understanding of dining service standards, trends, and customer expectations.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a focus on quality service.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team.

• Comfortable working with the Restaurant Manager and stepping into a leadership role as needed.

• Living in Amsterdam (or willing to commute).

• Must have a valid work permit to work in the Netherlands.
